Compliance Action Guidelines

Shinwa Controls and its affliates are committed to earning the trust of all our stakeholders, including employees, customers, subcontractors, and local communities. To this end, we are dedicated to promoting the development of a work environment that fully observes the law, as well as relevant social codes and social ethics, in accordance with the Compliance Action Guidelines set forth below.

Compliance Action Guidelines

We have established compliance regulations to define our compliance policy, system, implementation, and management methods, and are deeply aware of our corporate social responsibility. We are committed to compliance with relevant laws and regulations in our daily business activities, as well as practices that conform to social ethical standards.

 

Compliance Rules Stipulated in Compliance Regulations

 

  • Our Commitment to Community and Society
    (a) In order to conserve the environment and build a sustainable society, we will reduce the environmental impact of our products throughout their life cycle from raw material procurement, manufacturing, distribution, use, to recycling/disposal, and comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
    (b) We strictly prohibit any illegal acts, pursuit of profit by unfair means, activities and exchange of money or goods that are socially unaccountable, bribery, corruption, extortion, embezzlement, and any other acts that do not reflect our values and so damage our credibility or reputation.
    (c) We will work closely with and cooperate with local communities and engage in social contribution activities as for good corporate citizenship.
    (d) As part of our ethical mission, we take a resolute stance against organized crime and other unlawful forces that pose a threat to the order and safety of civil society, and reject any and all associations with such groups.
  • Our Relationships with Our Customers
    (a) We shall always think from our customers' perspective, and prioritize the quality and safety of the products and services we provide.
    (b) We are committed to preventing accidents and problems related to the quality and safety of our products and services, and in the unlikely event that an accident or problem should occur, we will respond promptly and with integrity.
    (c) Collusion and cartels are prohibited in all of the following: product prices, bids, production volumes, etc., which inhibit competition
  • Relationships with Subcontractors
    (a) We will observe all subcontracting laws, conduct honest and fair business transactions, and maintain transparent relationships with all subcontractors.
    (b) We reject improper business practices and always treat our subcontractors with integrity and fairness.
    (c) In connection with our work, we refrain from accepting benefits or favors or otherwise pursuing personal gain.
    (d) We will conduct ourselves in accordance with sound business practices and social common sense with respect to hospitality and the giving and receiving of gifts from business partners and other parties.
  • Management of Corporate Assets and Information
    (a) We will strictly manage company property and corporate information, whether tangible or intangible, in accordance with internal rules and regulations, and will prevent unauthorized use of such information.
    (b) We will never infringe upon the rights or property of others, and will respect them to the fullest extent possible.
    (c) We will strictly manage our confidential information, including personal information, and our employees will not improperly or unfairly use, disclose, or leak confidential information, both during employment and after termination or retirement.
    (e) Unauthorized access to or acquisition of confidential information of customers, business partners, etc. is strictly prohibited.
    (f) We will actively secure the results of research and development, etc. as intellectual property rights, while respecting the intellectual property rights of third parties and not infringing on them.
    (g) When releasing company information (e.g., public solicitations, product details, company and facility promotions, booklets and flyers, commercial advertisements, press releases, websites, etc.), all information must be confirmed in accordance with the approval procedure that the content is in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and that the information is not disclosed inaccurately.
  • Relations with Employees
    (a) We respect the privacy of the individual as well as fundamental human rights.
    (b) We do not tolerate discriminatory treatment, abuse, sexual harassment, or any other form of harassment without reasonable grounds such as birth, nationality, ethnicity, creed, religion, gender, age, various disabilities, hobbies, or educational background.}
    (c) Forms of labor violating the free will of employees (e.g., forced labor, bonded labor, human trafficking, etc.) will not be tolerated.
  • Our Relationship with the International Community
    (a) As a part of the international community, we will promote sound business activities by understanding and complying with the laws and regulations and international rules of the relevant countries.
    (b) We will maintain and promote amicable relationships with local communities by closely engaging with them while respecting local culture, traditions, customs, and human dignity.
